Pineapple isn't the first fruit people think of for pickling, but once you taste this one it makes complete sense. The natural sweetness of ripe pineapple comes through even after it's cooked down with chilli and spices, so you get sweet, tangy and a little heat all at once.

It's tempered the traditional way in gingelly oil with mustard seeds and curry leaves, which keeps it grounded in that familiar Kerala achar flavour rather than tasting like a fruit preserve. Try it with curd rice or even as a side with parathas, it works well either way.

Handcrafted in small batches with no artificial preservatives, colours or flavours, using recipes our family has cooked with since 2020.

Pairs wonderfully with hot steamed rice, curd rice, or sambar, and also tastes great with chapati, paratha, dosa, or upma.
