Along Kerala's coast, mussels pickle shows up often, and this is our take on it. Fresh mussels are cooked with ginger, garlic, curry leaves, and a generous mix of spices, then set in gingelly oil the traditional way so the flavours have time to come together.

It's briny and savoury with a solid kick of heat, closer in spirit to our fish and clam pickles than anything vegetarian. A little goes a long way over rice or kanji.

We make it fresh in small batches in Kerala, no artificial preservatives, colours, or flavours, and ship it across India and internationally.
