Meen achar, fish pickle, is one of those things every Kerala household seems to make a little differently, and this is our family's version. We use firm tuna, cooked down with ginger, garlic, curry leaves, and red chillies, then set in gingelly oil so the flavour deepens over time.

It's rich, a little oily in the best way, and carries real heat alongside a good tang. A spoonful next to plain rice and a simple thoran is honestly a full meal.

We make it fresh in small batches in Kerala, no artificial preservatives, colours, or flavours, and ship it out across India and internationally.
